Dan Goronszy creates unusual arts experiences that provoke big conversations about humanity and the world. She is a multi-disciplinary artist drawing on participatory installation, puppetry and physical theatre to connect with audiences who may not seek out arts experiences. With Sharyn Brand she has created The Grand Caravan, a purpose-built portable performance venue.  

Dan’s iterative public interventions invite people to reveal themselves as seen in The Launching Board, Fawkner and MoreArt (2015) and Darebin (2016) and Blood.Sex.Tears. Women Of The World (2017), Geelong After Dark (2016), La Mama (2016). Recent work The Care Taker Is In deepens her development of intimacy between participant and performer, Charles St( 2017), Carlisle St (2016), Falls Festival Marion Bay (2016/17).

Other highlights include: Future Postal Service, RAV tour (2016), Perth International Festival (2015) Federation Square(2015) and Arts Centre Melbourne (2015); Food Security Training at Alice Desert Festival (2014), When Claude Met Roxytri-state tour and sell out season Brisbane Festival (2013), Pigeonhole at White Night (2013) And My Strange Pet for ABC3 (2009). She is a longtime company member of Polyglot Theatre touring extensively internationally.

CACD residencies include Maningrida Arnhem Land (2015), and Minami Sanriku Japan (2015), Parkville Youth Justice Centre (2007 – 12).
