Jacinta Leitch studied Fine Art, Sculpture and Painting at RMIT Melbourne in 1983, then gained experience working on a local and international level, creating works in England and Germany. As a multi-faceted artist, Jacinta works in diverse mediums and concepts. Predominately working as a sculptor, Jacinta’s public and small works offer an individual experience in which the form is both personal and subjective.
For M~M2009 she created her Story Vessel by depicting aspects of the geography, local history and community legends of the Cowie ward.
