Nature Lovers

M~M2018 has a vision to green the contemporary songline (the length of the 80km art walk) over the next 80 years as a legacy for future generations. Council is working with the Bellarine Catchment Network to deliver this strategy.

Most of the funds raised from registration, contributes to the planting of a green corridor along the 80 kilometre contemporary songline from You Yangs Regional Park through to the mouth of the Barwon River.

These plantings are identified and implemented in partnership with key partners including Parks Victoria, Greening Australia and a range of community groups who volunteer. Plantings offer engagement possibilities for local residents and groups with a focus on re-introducing indigenous plants native to the areas of focus.
