Air, Water, Earth and Dreaming
This simple, yet imposing four metre high, giant bamboo sculpture is representative of a beacon of hope connecting the elements of air, water and earth to a place of dreaming.

The beautiful, natural structure takes the shape of a tee-pee that reaches towards the sky. The silk flags mounted to the top of the form will breathe life into the work as it shows the direction and movement of air. Hanging in the centre of the form will be a long mobile of interwoven pieces of driftwood, shells, rocks and found objects that reflect the heartsong of the land.
Within each of the four walls of the tee-pee, a dream catcher made from a range of mixed media materials is suspended. Children from the four local schools in Ocean Grove have been invited to contribute to the making of these dream catchers to harness their energy, enthusiasm and spirit.
