Blue Gold
Blue gold is an ephemeral installation of hanging ice drops which will gradually melt into the ocean at Ocean Grove. This action symbolizes a muiscas’ ritual (an Indigenous Peoples of Colombia) where golden jewels were thrown into the Iguaque lake's waters as an offering to Bachue, the goddess mother of humanity, who emerged from the lake and gave birth to the earth.
