Due to Tide conditions and resulting beach inaccessibility a bus will be used to transport walkers for part of the Point Lonsdale to Ocean Grove section.

It is a beautiful walk, passing by the historic Point Lonsdale Lighthouse, which was first lit in 1902. Take a very steep climb to the top of the dunes and then down onto the sands which are the home of the protected Hooded Plovers. Walk along the shores of Bass Strait, with pounding surf and high cliffs that will accompany you all the way to Ocean Grove.
