Expressions of Interest are now welcomed for the casual contracted position of M~M District Co-ordinator: Bellarine Peninsula for M~M2016.
M~M (Mountain to Mouth) is Geelong’s biennial Extreme Arts Walk – an 80 kilometre journey from the You Yangs Mountain range to the mouth of the Barwon River, featuring the Central Geelong’s pop up night arts event - Geelong After Dark, occurring 6-7 May 2016.
6 District Co-ordinators will be engaged from late October 2015 until mid-May 2016 on a casual basis with the M~M2016 Project Team at the Arts & Culture Department, City of Greater Geelong
Expressions of Interest are now open for a District Co-ordinator who will have responsibilities for the Bellarine Peninsula area. Primary responsibilities will involve the co-ordination of community engagement in the M~M2016 Walk for two Stations (resting points) situated along the route – at Christies Road and Drysdale Historic Railway Station.
Prior experience in event management is an advantage, however main skills required include excellent communication skills, knowledge of local communities across the Bellarine Peninsula area and an interest in the arts and environment. Particular consideration will be given for applicants who have experience and networks relating to the local produce industry on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Applicants will be contracted for a fee, which comprises of payment for the equivalent of approximately 20 days work across a six month period.
